Yes, the Nokia 3310 is back and it’s got new colours and even a fresh new version of Snake to play while you’re waiting for the bus.
Released in 2000, the original Nokia 3310 sold 126 million units worldwide, making it one of the world’s best-selling mobile phones.
Fast-forward 17 years and it’s back with a much cheaper price tag and a still-very-impressive battery life. Just don’t expect a touchscreen or Twitter.
The good news is that you don’t need to wait too long to get your hands on one. Here’s all you need to know about buying a new Nokia 3310 in the UK.
The Nokia 3310 will retail at an average global retail price of €49 (£41) – significantly less than its original price of £129.
That’s significantly cheaper than the £599 starting price of an iPhone 7.
Carphone Warehouse has already got its pre-order page up for the Nokia 3310 .
No other mobile operators have announced that they will be stocking the device, suggesting that HMD has struck an exclusivity deal with Carphone Warehouse.
However, it is likely that the device will also be available SIM-free from retailers such as Amazon.
Despite being unveiled on February 26, we still don’t know exactly when the Nokia 3310 will hit the shops.
